They say that life is a journey down a road & you're destined to take a walk down this road. You can choose to go fast or go slow, run, skip, hop, whatever. It's seldom a straight route, & along the way, you will meet bumps, certain barriers or even road blocks which will pose a challenge for you to pass through. But you still move along, coz that's what you were destined to do. But how you choose to pass through is entirely up to you. You can even make a detour or go around it if you choose to do so. And you meet different people taking the same paths as you, or sometimes they may just be passing by. But you still move along down the beaten road. When you reach a crossroad, you make a choice and walk on. Sometimes you may even pass by stopovers where you can just stop, take a breather and take a rest perhaps.
Or you can just standstill & let everything & everyone pass you by.
"under a molten sky, beyond the road, we lie in wait"
I think the time has come for me to continue walking & move along now. And if along the beaten track i'm destined to fall again, i'll just pick myself up and continue walking.
Coz a bump is after all, just a bump in the road.
"if time is my vessel then learning to love might be my way back to sea"
